Introduction:

PathPilot helps you prepare for job interviews efficiently using its AI-powered features. This guide covers how to leverage PathPilot to both prepare for interviews by compiling key interview questions based on your profile, and by conducting mock interviews for realistic practice.

Features for Interview Preparation:

Method 1: Generating a List of Interview Questions

  1. Initiate From Main Screen:

    • From the main screen of the PathPilot interface, locate the “Interview Prep” option in the bottom center.
  2. Select a Prompt:

    • You will see a list of options for what type of interview questions you’d like to prepare for. You can select one of the following prompts:

      • “I would like to prepare for a general interview based on my current resume.”

      • “I would like to do an interview for one of my saved jobs”

      • “I would like to prepare for an interview for a specific type of job / role I’m interested in.”

  3. Review Generated Questions:

    • PathPilot will analyze the parameters you have given, and provide a list of questions that you might expect to be asked in a real interview. This could include a mixture of technical, behavioral, and project specific questions.

Method 2: Conducting Mock Interviews

  1. Initiate Mock Interview from Main Screen:
    • From the main screen of the PathPilot interface, select “Mock Interview” in the bottom right.
  2. Select Type of Mock Interview:

    • PathPilot will prompt you for a mock interview type. Choose from one of the following:

      • "I would like to do a general interview based on my current resume."

      • "I would like to do an interview for one of my saved jobs."

      • “I would like to do an interview for a specific type of job/role I’m interested in.”

  3. Set Interview Parameters:

    • Once you select your interview type, you will then be prompted to choose the number of questions you'd like to be asked for your mock interview. You can choose from 3, 5, 7, or 10 questions.

    • You can also type in a custom number of questions.

  4. Review Your Results:

    • After each question, PathPilot will give you a rating of your answer, along with feedback and suggestions on how you could have improved it.

Method 3: Interacting with PathPilot During the Mock Interview

  • Text or Voice Input: You may choose to respond to the interview questions using text input or a voice response. When you begin the interview, you will be prompted to select the input method you prefer.
  • Use Natural Language: You can use natural language for prompts and requests. PathPilot’s AI is optimized to understand and assist you regardless of the phrasing used.
  • Custom Prompts: If you have questions of your own that are not in the generated lists, simply ask, and PathPilot will accommodate.

Key Features and Options:

  • Realistic Practice: PathPilot provides a platform for realistic practice, helping to familiarize you with common interview questions and prepare you to respond effectively
  • Customizable Questions: PathPilot has a wide breadth of questions based on its database, along with the ability to customize based on your own job details.
